2019 Wildlife of the Canadian Rockies
This years tour, run in association with Wildlife Worldwide, proved to be one of our most action packed visits to these amazing mountains. Along with the wealth of wildlife sightings that we always enjoy in this spectacular region, we also experienced some truly remarkable mountain weather this year. Everything from blazing sunshine, torrential rainstorms and even blizzards! Fortunately, the dramatic weather events were short-lived and the settled weather prevailed so none of it hampered our experience. In fact, the fresh snow-capped mountains and the thundering waterfalls all added a wonderful backdrop to our wildlife viewing. The extraordinary number of bear encounters (both Black Bears and Grizzly Bears) was undoubtedly one of the great highlights of this years tour but couple this with the spectacular scenery, masses of colourful wildflowers and the numerous other mammals and birds that we enjoyed seeing….this was certainly a trip to remember!
